Claiming
A claim is when someone commits to buying a gift. The claiming system is central to Giverr’s surprise protection:
- When you claim a gift, other givers can see it’s claimed
- The wishlist owner never sees claim information
- Claims go through a lifecycle: To Buy → Purchased → Wrapped → Given
Advanced Claiming Features
Section titled “Advanced Claiming Features” Surprise Gifts Give off-list gifts while coordinating with others

- How many units are still available for multi-quantity gifts
This helps you coordinate without duplicating purchases.
