Multi-Item Claims
Sometimes a single wishlist item needs multiple products to fulfill. Multi-Item Claims let you add several items to a single claim, showing other givers everything you’re getting and the total cost.
What Is a Multi-Item Claim?
Section titled “What Is a Multi-Item Claim?”A multi-item claim is when you fulfill one wishlist request with multiple products. Instead of showing a single product, you show all the items you’re getting.
Common scenarios:
| Wishlist Item | Multi-Item Fulfillment |
|---|---|
| ”Spa day supplies” | Bath bombs + face masks + candles + lotion |
| ”Craft supplies” | Yarn + needles + pattern books + storage bag |
| ”Coffee lover starter kit” | Coffee beans + grinder + pour-over set + mug |
| ”Baby essentials” | Diapers + wipes + onesies + blanket |

Adding Items to a Multi-Item Claim

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Product URL | Link to the product (auto-extracts details) |
| Title | What is this item? |
| Image | Product photo (auto-fetched from URL) |
| Price | Cost of this individual item |
| Notes | Size, color, or other specifics |
The total price is automatically calculated from all items.
What Other Givers See
Section titled “What Other Givers See”When you have a multi-item claim, other givers see:
- Stacked images — All your product images displayed together
- Item count badge — Shows “3 items” or similar
- Total price — Combined cost of all items
- Item list — Can expand to see individual products
This gives them a complete picture of how you’re fulfilling the request.

Tips for Multi-Item Claims
Section titled “Tips for Multi-Item Claims”- Group related items — Keep items that make sense together in one claim
- Use for themed gifts — Gift baskets, starter kits, collections
- Don’t over-split — If items are from one order, keep them together
- Update as you shop — Add items as you find them; you don’t need everything at once
- Check the total — Make sure the combined price fits your budget
Multi-Item vs. Multiple Claims
Section titled “Multi-Item vs. Multiple Claims”| Approach | When to Use |
|---|---|
| Multi-Item Claim | Items are part of one gift concept (craft basket) |
| Separate Claims | Items are independent gifts (book + unrelated gadget) |
If you’re buying unrelated items for the same person, claim them separately. If they’re part of a themed gift or bundle, use multi-item.
