Ready to create your first wishlist? This guide walks you through everything from signing up to sharing your list. You’ll be done in about 5 minutes!

• Your first wishlist created
• At least one gift added
• A shareable link to send to family or friends

Create Your Account

1. Go to Giverr

   Visit giverr.app in your web browser.

2. Click “Sign Up”

   You’ll see the sign-up options on the landing page.

3. Choose how to sign up

   Pick whichever is easiest for you:

   • Google - One click if you have a Google account
   • Apple - One click if you have an Apple ID
   • Email - Enter your email and create a password

4. Complete your profile

   Fill in a few quick details:

   • Your name - How you want others to see you
   • Your birthday - So your family gets reminders (you can hide the year!)
   • Theme preference - Light mode, dark mode, or match your device

Tip

Using Google or Apple sign-in is fastest - no password to remember and your profile photo imports automatically!

Create Your First Wishlist

Now that you have an account, let’s create a wishlist for an upcoming occasion.

1. Click “New Wishlist”

   From your dashboard, click the “New Wishlist” button. You’ll see it prominently displayed.

2. Give it a name

   Something descriptive like “My Birthday 2025” or “Christmas Ideas”.

3. Pick the occasion type

   Choose from:

   • Birthday
   • Christmas / Holiday
   • Wedding
   • Baby Shower
   • Anniversary
   • Other (you can type anything!)

4. Set the occasion date

   When is this occasion? This helps remind people when they need to shop by.

5. Add an optional note

   Want to mention your sizes, preferred colors, or anything else? Add it here. Everyone who views your list will see this note.

6. Click “Create Wishlist”

   Your wishlist is ready for gifts!

Add Your First Gift

This is the fun part! You can add gifts two ways:

Paste a Link (Recommended)

The easiest way to add a gift:

1. Find something you want online

   Browse Amazon, Target, Walmart, Etsy, or any online store.

2. Copy the product URL

   Copy the link from your browser’s address bar.

3. Click “Add Gift” on your wishlist

   You’ll see a text field asking for a URL.

4. Paste the link and click “Extract”

   Giverr automatically grabs:

   • Product name
   • Price
   • Product image
   • Store name

5. Set your priority

   How much do you want this?

   • Nice to Have - Would be happy to get it
   • Really Want - This is a top pick
   • Dream Gift - The big one you’re hoping for!

6. Click “Add to Wishlist”

   Done! The gift appears on your list.

Tip

Giverr works with most online stores including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Etsy, and hundreds more!

Add Manually

For items without a link (like “massage gift card” or something from a local store):

1. Click “Add Gift” then “Add Manually”

2. Enter the gift details

   • Name of the item
   • Approximate price (optional)
   • Where to buy it
   • Any notes (“Size medium”, “The blue one”)

3. Set your priority

4. Click “Add to Wishlist”

Share Your Wishlist

Now let’s get your wishlist in front of the people who’ll be shopping for you!

1. Click the “Share” button

   You’ll find it at the top of your wishlist page.

2. Copy the share link

   Giverr creates a special link just for your wishlist.

3. Send it to family and friends

   Text it, email it, or post it in your family group chat. Anyone with the link can view your wishlist and claim gifts.

Privacy Reminder

When others view your wishlist, they can see which gifts have been claimed (and by whom) so they can coordinate. But YOU will never see this information - the surprise stays safe!

• Add variety - Mix in some smaller, affordable items alongside bigger wishes
• Be specific - If you want a particular color or size, add a note to the gift
• Update regularly - Remove items you’ve bought yourself or no longer want
• Share early - Give people time to shop, especially for holidays!
